Recently, CSIC 711 stood out from the fierce competition of many internationally renowned companies and undertook two electric power integration and automation projects for the Wellhead Liquid Treatment Support Ship (WTSV). The total contract price exceeded 100 million yuan.
The two wellhead fluid treatment support vessels (WTSV) are the latest high-end offshore vessels. Currently only three vessels of this type are built in the world. The two WTSVs built in China are also the 4th and 5th vessels in the world. . The ship adopts DP2 power positioning and is equipped with a complete upper process processing module, which can be used as a wellhead liquid treatment support ship for large oil fields, and can also be used as a support for marginal oilfield oil production (used as FPSO). It is highly practical and technical. High content and powerful functions will bring high economic benefits to users.
As a system integrator, the Seventy-one will provide shipowners with electric propulsion systems, power station systems, and full ship automation systems, as well as a petroleum processing center control system for the upper process processing modules. The total installed capacity of the ship is about 12,000 kW. It is worth mentioning that the electric propulsion system uses the most advanced AFE frequency conversion scheme, which has the characteristics of low harmonics and low energy consumption. The petroleum treatment central control system adopts the latest scientific and technological achievements in marine engineering in July 11th. It has the characteristics of advanced performance, safety and reliability, and also adopts the diesel generator set jointly produced by the company and Wärtsilä to provide reliable power for ship operation and production.
So far, in 2013, the Seventy-one has successively undertaken nearly 10 sets of electric propulsion integration projects such as fishery vessels, tuna fishing vessels, oil spill recovery vessels, multi-purpose container vessels and offshore vessels. The acceptance of the wellhead fluid treatment support ship project once again proved the technical strength of the electric power integration project on July 11th. The vessel is expected to be completed in 2014 and will be involved in the Gulf of Mexico to participate in local oil production activities. This marks a breakthrough for China's electric propulsion integrators to participate in the international market competition in the field of marine engineering vessels.
