China Drying Network Recently, Xinjiang Keshan Baota Petrochemical Company's "8 million-ton/year heavy oil to olefinic aromatics and energy-saving assessment report for supporting projects" was approved by the Energy Efficiency Evaluation Center of the autonomous region.
The project consists of three sub-items: 8 million tons/year heavy oil to olefins aromatics project, 6 million tons/year injection material, 400,000 tons/year tar light comprehensive utilization project and 2X350MW cogeneration project. The main types of energy consumption are electricity, fuel gas, fuel oil, catalytic burn, raw coal and so on. The energy efficiency index of the project meets the requirements of industry standards and is at the advanced level in the country. The project belongs to the category of petrochemical sulfur-containing acid heavy and inferior crude oil refining technology, high-standard oil production technology development and application projects, and also meets the requirements of national and industry-related energy-saving design specifications.
