According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, the city will implement a new round of old motor vehicle elimination and renewal program this year.
The plan stipulates that the average subsidy for vehicles that have been used for 6 years or more and one year or more in advance is 8,000 yuan, the maximum subsidy for small passenger cars is 8,500 yuan, and the maximum subsidy for heavy-duty diesel vehicles is 21,500 yuan. Compared with last year, the new program has increased the number of scrapped vehicle subsidies by 2,000 yuan on the basis of maintaining the existing subsidy processing model, and increased the incentives for heavy diesel vehicles to be scrapped, and enjoyd the national automobile old-for-new subsidy policy. . If the owner of the old motor vehicle is replaced with a new one, the automobile manufacturer will not give the owner a new car reward according to the principle that the average standard is not lower than the government subsidy. However, no subsidies will be granted for the transfer of vehicles.

According to the newly released Clean Air Action Plan, this year we strive to reduce the average annual concentration of PM2.5 by about 5%.
