It is understood that since May last year, 90% of the more than 40 drug companies that have been spot checked by the State Food and Drug Administration have received GMP certificates, and inspections organized by the provincial bureaus have also returned more than 100 pharmaceutical companies' GMP certificates. Next year, the State Food and Drug Administration will also issue a new version of the GMP standard, aiming to improve access to medicines. In addition, the drug administration department will also link up with the judicial authorities to increase supervision, and enterprises and business leaders who have problems may be subject to criminal liability.
