The net profit distributed to shareholders (that is, the "net profit" in the conventional sense) was 4.715 billion euros in the fourth quarter, up 63.3% from the 1.050 billion euros in 2010; the net profit distributed to shareholders for the whole year was 56.67 billion euros, up from the 4.498 billion euros in 2010, a year-on-year increase of 26.0%.
