Japan's Niigata prime mover received 8 orders for offshore craft parts

It is reported that Niigata Motivation Co., Ltd. has obtained orders for marine medium-speed diesel engines and propulsion systems for eight marine support vessels from the Southeast Shipyard of Fujian Province. The total contract price is about 1.8 billion yen (about 21.7 million US dollars), the company began to enter the port work boat market in 2005, and gradually accelerate the pace of marketing activities in the offshore ship market. A total of 12 mainframe orders for 8 offshore vessels including platform supply vessels, multi-purpose vessels and submersible work support vessels were obtained, and 16 propulsion system orders were also obtained.
In addition, in 2010 Niigata Prime Mobility Company also received orders for 12 mainframe/propulsion systems for six ships from Southeast Shipbuilding.
