He said that in 2001, the output of domestic compressors was 13 million units, plus 2 million units imported, but it was about 15 million units, and next year the country's air-conditioning output would be around 20 million units. Compressor, as a key component with strong planning and long production cycle, will inevitably be in short supply. Especially in the peak season of production, not only is the purchase difficult, but the price will also rise.
The shortage of compressors last year caused the supply of individual models in the Oaks season to be in short supply, and even the out-of-stock situation. In the second quarter of 2001, a number of planned compressors were delayed by the production plant, and Oaks Air Conditioner was held in Beijing to hold a seminar on the quality and price of exempt air-conditioners. 3.24 Driven by price cuts, local sales have been extremely hot. By the beginning of June, several mainstream models have been fully shut down. In order to reduce the loss caused by the out of stock and ensure the supply to dealers, the Olympics has purchased 150,000 sets of compressors at a price higher by 160 yuan per unit than the planned compressor through various channels. It took more than 24 million yuan to say nothing, and missed many business opportunities. If it weren’t for the compressor to “hit the waist”, Oaks’ sales volume for 2001 was no problem at the current level of 902,300 units.
Currently, Oaks has determined that the sales target for 2002 will be 1.5 million units. This 1.5 million air-conditioning units will not be completed through balanced production throughout the year. According to the plan, all the required compressors must be purchased within the first 10 months of the entire air-conditioning sales year, that is, before June 2002. At present, light prepayments amount to more than 50 million yuan per month, which is enough to prove the strength of Oakes and its confidence in the market.
