It is reported that Germany's RWO company said on the 3rd that the company has received orders for four ballast water treatment systems (BWTS), which will be installed on four 4800TEU container ships.
RWO, a subsidiary of VeoliaWater Solutions & Technologies, will supply four CleanBallast® to Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding during the year.
These ships were ordered by Hansa Shipping of Germany and, in consultation with the shipyard, the decision was made to install RWO's ballast water treatment system on the ship.
