The gas pipeline in Central Asia exceeds 10 million cubic meters per day

The reporter learned from the Urumqi Customs that, after five months of ventilation, the daily gas transmission volume of the Central Asia natural gas pipeline has exceeded 10 million cubic meters, entering a new phase of unimpeded gas transmission.
Wang Hongxin, the head of the Khorgos Customs Supervision Section responsible for gas pipeline monitoring in Central Asia, told reporters that in view of the special nature of pipeline transportation, the Customs issued records, regular declarations, inspections and clearances, and the supervision of imported gas replacements to follow-up management. Aspects were standardized and a set of models suitable for the supervision of gas pipeline transportation was formed. At present, Khorgos Customs conducts 24-hour monitoring of gas transmission in the Central Asia natural gas pipeline.
The Central Asia Natural Gas Pipeline is China's first transnational energy artery for the introduction of overseas natural gas resources, with a total investment of US$15 billion. The pipeline starts from Gedaim on the border between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan and passes through Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to reach Horgos Port on the Sino-Kazakh border. The total length is 1,833 kilometers. After entering the territory of China from the Khorgos Port, the pipeline connects the second line of the West-East Gas Pipeline in the country and the entire pipeline is nearly 10,000 kilometers long.
Since the completion of the double-track completion and single-line ventilation in December 2009, as of now, the Central Asia natural gas pipeline has accumulated 947 million cubic meters of natural gas.
