· Volkswagen (China) recalls 5,906 imported Bentley speeding and Continental cars

Recently, Volkswagen (China) Sales Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and will recall some imported 2012-2014 Bentley speeding and Continental vehicles from October 27, 2015 (production date: February 2011) 5th to May 15th, 2014). According to the company's statistics, there are 5,906 vehicles in mainland China.
Some of the vehicles within the scope of this recall may have their nuts on both sides of the wire and bolt joints of the 12 volt battery not tightened to the proper torque. In the rare case, the nuts on either side of the joint may loosen during use. If the battery is obviously depleted, the generator will provide high-intensity current to charge the battery. High-intensity current will cause the loose battery wire bolt joint to overheat, posing a safety hazard. For vehicles involved in this recall, the Bentley brand authorized dealer will replace the battery cable connector nut for the recalled vehicle for free.
From November 10, 2015, the Bentley brand of Volkswagen (China) Sales Co., Ltd. will contact the users within the scope of the recall through special dealers to arrange maintenance.
