According to reports, VW wants to plan and manufacture its own V W-Crafter model in the future. Ferdinand Pi?ch, chairman of VW, insisted on ending the cooperation partnership between R&D and production that was formed in 2002.
So far, the Volkswagen (VW) Crafter has been offline from Daimler's production line with Mercedes's Sprinter. The report stated that Daimler tried hard to continue the partnership and may further expand cooperation with Renault. Volkswagen (VW) and Daimler are reluctant to comment on the end of the cooperation report. It is reported that Daimler sold more Sprinter than VW Crafter.
